Name that food
Here's an interesting idea I had. You have to guess which food I am talking about. They are easy though. Ready?
What name is given to small shaped pieces of toasted and fried bread garnished with caviar, smoked salmon, anchovies, shrimps, etc? Another tomorrow. |

Hello all. I am not starting any new threads for my quizzes, instead I am adding on to the current ones, like I have now done with the sport forum,so they are not scattered all over the forums. Good luck everybody.
1.This fruit grows on stems, and the group of them are called hands, and individual ones are called fingers-which fruit? 2. In the Middle East it is used in coffee,in Europe it flavours cakes,in France and the USA it's oil is used for a purpose unconnected with cookery. What is it? 3. This cheese eaten all over the world is transported in cylindrical wood-chip boxes? 4. When the mutiny of the bounty took place, the ship was making for the West Indies with a cargo of fruit trees. Which type of fruit was it? 5. From the carrot family of vegetables, these leaves are used in Indian cookery. |
