Hi all,Been looking for a dvd recorder for a while.Wanted to buy one mainly for copying off my sky+.Saw this one on the net.One site had it for £180 and another at £130 delivered.Anyway just wanted to expert thoughts if this is any good.I see it says Digital TV Tuner - for up to 40 channels Does this mean there is freeview on there and i cant see the recording times ie how long you get recording for your discs.
I only will use it for copying and if free view is built in it then even better.As long as it takes dvd+r i fine with that.If some one can recommend another dvd recorder bit cheaper and does above then great.Thanks in advance.

I have both an EZ27 and an EZ28 and both units are practically the same.

They both accept:
DVD RAM
DVD+/-R
DVD+/-R Dual Layer
DVD+/-RW

The recording modes are:
XP - 1 Hour
SP - 2 Hours
LP - 4 Hours
EP - 6/8 Hours

Also, if you wanted to record a film that lasts 2hr 15mins, instead of using LP which would leave 1hr 45mins, you can use Flexible Record to fill the whole disc with improved quality.

It does indeed have Freeview built-in with a 7 day EPG which can be used to set timer recordings.

The EZ27 can be picked up for less than £100, but some earlier ones were a bit buggy. The EZ28 is dearer, but more reliable.
