24k Gold iPod Touch

Has anyone seen the 24k Gold iPod Touchs for sale on the internet?

It's unbelievable! Who would want to spend £500 more on an iPod Touch just to have it in gold? You'd never want to take it anywhere with you in case it got nicked!

£700 for a blinged up ipod . Whoever comes up with these things must come from a different world. Can you imagine going out and about in the scum-ridden streets in this country with it? I'd have to arm myself with an Uzi for protection

If they actually manage to sell any of these (if anyone is stupid enough to buy one) they will be making a KILLING on them!

Remember the guy that appeared on Dragons Den with a gold plating machine? Easy and quick to do, the finish looked good, and it wasn't *that* expensive for him to do. I notice the ad doesn't mention that the back plate is 100% solid 24k gold (it'd be a lot more expensive than that if it was!) meaning it'll just be gold plated .... which won't cost anything like £500 to do!

I found an american company online who'll gold plate candle stick holders for $60 each. I'd imagine there is more surface area on a candle stick holder than the back plate of an iPod touch.

Easy money if you can find enough people stupid enough to buy them ....

Who will buy it? Rap stars to go with all their other bling.

The scary thing is, it'll be chavs that buy them as a symbol of their "wealth". While I know that it's not Apple doing these, I sometimes yearn for the days when they were "cool" but "unpopular"
