Its Boazman BTW
Alan Dedlicoat and Fenella Fudge on R2, and Carrie Davis on R1.
Thanks.
Also, for news I have to say Dominic Byrne (sp?) & Carrie Davis too on Radio 1. Also, Alexa Rowe, some of you may not have heard of her but she was on Town 102 until she left. I think she went to a GCap station but totally unsure.
Yes, Jackie have an overnight newsreader.
Used to work with Howard Hughes and he is a very dedicated newsreader/journalist, sadly I have no idea where he is now. Justin Kings is another really great newsreader/journalist now at BBC London as deputy editor.
Howard Hughes a legend
Bill Overton very natural
Travel - are there any? I genuinely can't think of one that stands out as being someone I admire. Most are too busy acting as sidekicks and trying to get a foot in the presenting door - nothing wrong with that, but it does tend to detract from their main duty as a travel presenter.
Plus Andrew Fletcher and Charles Nove doing the news.
.... nah, just kidding
Phil Parry used to be on Radio Broadland a few years ago as the Sports producer I think and also the 3rd voice on the breakfast show, he always sounded good and down to earth. Glad to hear he's still about and doing well!
Traffic - Dominic Byrne. Who could forget One Road Travel.
One of - if not THE voice of BBC London sport now and one of the greatest guys in the industry to work with and as a person.
A former primary teacher too!
Howard Hughes was on the Steve Penk Breakfast show this week on the Revolution. It was only for 4 days but said he'd be back.
LBC has a female newsreader who iriitates the hell out of me by attaching an 'S' on to the end of every 'T' she enunciates. It's like she has a little hi-hat next to her script.
The Wave in Swansea has a news reader who does that too, she's called Sabrina Radmore and as well as that the way she over pronounces every word irritates the crap out of me and a LOT of other people.
The sexy sounding and looking Emily Littlemore for the news.
Both on (were on) LBC.
