Where's is Nicole?
Care Bear

Why has she left? Is she the only one who didn't return this year?

The BBC didn't ask her back.

It's sad that her name wasn't mentioned, it's as though she hasn't existed. She should have had some kind of acknowledgement after being on the show all that time. We don't know what goes on most of the time, so we'll never know the real reason she wasn't asked back.

It is a shame that they cut her out of the show, she is lovely.

There is much more about this on Nicole's thread (see other pages) and there was a separate thread about her not being asked back (see aslo other pages) and a petition was sent to the BBC from the thread which they completely ignored. Since she is the mot talented female dancer and has a professional parner in the show the BBC have behaved very poorly and made a big mistake.

After all what time she has only been on three series out of six ( including this one)

Not like Anton, Erin, Brendan and Camilla who have been there since the start.

What could they have said though?

As you may have noticed, Nicole Cutler is not back this year because she's been axed.

Or

In case you're wondering where Nicole is, she's no longer on the show...*uncomfortable pause*

Or

Nicole has left the show to pursue other interests (untrue; she didn't leave)

Or

We hav a new pro Hayley Holt, who is replacing Nicole Cutler (no reason given for the decision)

None of the above mentions would have been better than the silence. Other pros like Paul Killick who left after more than one series didn't get a mention so I wasn't expecting any reference to Nicole. In fact I was very surprised we got shown so many clips with her in them - I thought she was going to be airbrushed out. I don't watch the X Factor but I don't think there was a huge announcement about Sharon Osbourne's departure, or Kate Thornton's sacking a couple of series ago. In TV exec land, life is all pink and sparkly so they won't ever allude to behind-the-scenes controversy, unless they think it'll be good for the show.

Yes, you're right. There wasn't a tactful way of mentioning it.

Still don't get all the fuss - last year was the only year they have kept a consistent pro cast. Change has always happened, with pros not getting asked back and new ones being brought in.

Nicole didn't do the 3rd series after the doing the 2nd with Diarmuid so 'missing' a series might not be all that strange to the public who don't know any different.

The BBC really do not like Nicloe do they,

a. They haven't asked her back this year
b. They gave her Christopher Parker on the last tour, what
a useless partner to have.

i don't think the BBC had anything to do with the running of the tour, it was an independent company wasn't it????

Agree that she has been badly treated though, as she was the only one dropped for some reason.

You need re-read what was written. She isn't bitter, but disappointed, otherwise why has she said that she would still do the show if asked back.

You cannot believe everthing you read in the papers. Some of what was written were direct quotes, but the rest was stated by the reporter, to sound like quotes. She has been misrepresented
