I don't know if this link has been posted before on Hannah's thread? But check Hannah out on myspace. What a fabulous voice she has and what a big mistake the judges made not letting her go through to the final.
I agree Hannah does sing Mercy better than Duffy.

Listening to that it just highlights how really really bad the judges' decision was.

I think Hannah will get the deal she is looking for and she will have the liberty as an artist.
Too many people who win these show are subject to stringent rules, and don't have a lot of say about the stuff they produce on their first record. They are tied in. It would be nice to see Hannah on the xfactor by the introduction of a wildcard (probably just a rumour), just for the sake of justice though.

Yeah exactly. You'd think they'd want to make the most of this years talent but obviously not seeing as Hannah didn't make it.

Listening to the songs on Hannah's myspace just shows up how wrong Cheryl's decision was.
Quite a lot of people can't believe it, everyone in my house was shocked and when I was in work yesterday talk came around to the X Factor and most of them didn't understand how Hannah didn't get through.

If only she'd been in Simon or one of the other judges categories, we would have been celebrating Hannah making the final 12.

Hannah was absolutely robbed no doubts about it, better than all 3 girl finalists put together, I hope to see her in the future, she has a fantastic voice

Well maybe. Music industry is a crazy place and you've got to be some way inclined to make it. Some acts who make it have impact on the public at all until they are released so it's whether a not a record company will take on somebody with some past in the media.

Maybe but I think an agency has another act that has probably been given the nod that they'll make it to the final and win or make it there and get a record deal. I think Hannah would have been a difficult competitor to take shake off the public's gaze during the shows. They had nothing on here.

Like on This Morning she said, she wanted to let her singing do the talking and didn't get involved as much. Now if she had got involved, they would have had something they could use on the live shows against her.

Sometimes even a sob story can help someone get further.

I don't think that Hannah needs the Xfactor. Or at least she doesn't need to win it. I think that there seems to be such a strong consensus that the gorls category was extremely string this year, that they may introduce a wild card to it this year.

She could do with the exposure of getting to the live shows.

I wish her all the best.

With regards to her appearance. She does have a prominant forehead. She didn't make the best of herself. A could hair style would sort that out, without leaving her looking like a barbie doll. Instead she could bring out her attractive quirkyness.

Agree 100%. Hannah's voice was WAY better.

That was the only decision I didn't agree with this series.

I agree. It should have been Hannah that got through with Alex and Laura and not Diana.
I remember Simon loving her and saying she was one to watch. I feel that when it came for Cheryl to decide which of the girls was going through she was influenced by that other girl from Girls Aloud who was helping her judge the final girls. Cheryl had liked Hannah before.

I think the best three would have been Laura, Diana and Hannah because they have the best voices.

I think the X Factor have shown us that there are a lot of girls out there like Alexandera who just screech and shout but a girl who can sing well but has a nice voice is better.

It makes me wonder how people see the rest of the world where singers like Lata Mangeshkar of India is renowned as the best singer in the world by her contemporaries while in the west a majority of X Factor viewers respond from being over fed the Mariah/Whitney bandwagon.

Going by talent alone, she deserved to be in the top 12 at the least.
I wonder if maybe she had too much of a definite direction and knowledge of who she is as an artist and that made the show favor more maleable/agreeable artists for the top12 over her? She certainly has the voice, and is actually uniquely pretty, though I noticed that they gave her the usual unflattering lighting/angles a few times for the show.
She seems to have a lot of drive, and paired with her talent, I bet she will do well. She may one day be glad she didnt get trapped in the web of circular in-house spending, unadvantageous to the artist in all kinds of ways contratcs, and other assorted things that have made plenty of artists decide thanks, but no thanks.
She will probably end up signed, if she wants to be(if she wasnt/isnt already, that is). She will likely do well independent, too, if she chooses that route. If she is able to write her own material, that will greatly increase her chances, too.It would also be a big reason to consider going her own way. Artists who have their own songs need the big labels/contracts a lot less than those who dont , especially these days with cheap adequate home studios and local indie ones so easy to access.

Anyway, good luck to her.

I think it was down to the fact she never gave them an angle or a good story board to work from and also from that, she would have been a big threat to their favourite. They need something to use against somebody to bring them down. They had nothing against her.

Groups - they can be eliminated step by step because you could pick on any member and say there is something wrong with him or him and as a group you can't work. The rest they'll say for example, Ruth, you're better off singing Spanish, Rachel - they'll focus on attitude, Daniel will be you need to command your voice more (this will work with the public who will like the shouters), Diana, not mainstream enough, leaving Alex and Laura...

...the guys will struggle.
