Phil's quite a funny guy so that might save him even if he's not the best dancer. Hubbie said he seems to be trying so that might help him too. Hard to predict really but it might be John - the public seem to unsentimental when it comes to the blokes and will probably let the bloke at the bottom of the leader board get evicted.

Hi everyone! It's Kristina Rihanoff.

I'm very happy that John is my partner. He's got a big heart and a great attitude. I'm really proud of him and hope the fans give us a chance to show what we can do.

John really is what learning ballroom is about. It's for any age, any size, any fitness level. We are both looking forward to the premier and hope that you enjoy our performances.

Thank you so much for all of your support!

Well said Kristina, I agree people should wait and see how people will dance before judjing them.... its also about the personalaties and what ive seen of John hes a really funny sweet man.... If everyone went in fav to win it wouldnt be what the shows all about... learning to dance from scratch!!!

I think John may last a couple of weeks on personality even if he one assumes he won't be much good (which I think we should assume about no one till the show airs anyway! give the man a chance) - he seems like a sweet guy and I suspect he'll turn out to have a good dry sense of humour about himself - my impression from the preview was that he had a good attitude about it. Even if he was the worst dancer I think he'd have an even chance of being saved over some of the others who are less endearing.

I think both John and Cherie have fairly slender chances of actually winning based on previous years but you never know... Cherie in particular I think could do better than some people think, she's fit, goodlooking, and has the right attitude... more potential than some are giving her credit for IMO.
