My money is on Tom

My early money would be on Tom or Rachel

I think Tom or Lisa.

I'm afraid Mark does nothing for me on initial impressions-(but hey he might be a dancing god for all I know!I'm sure my allegiences will settle by programme 3!)

He has a problem in that Hayley hasn't really established a core of support for her, in the way Camilla or Vincent have

I liked the chemistry he had with his new to the show partner. Sporting athlete too..a swimmer..they done very well at the Olympics this year haven't they

I think he is the chosen one! £150 on at 9/1. That's Christmas paid for.

Rachel probably top female but will always be in alesha's shadow so i think unlikely to win!

He didn't! Didn't he fail to qualify for the final in his event?

Rachel will probably go in the quarters

I reckon the final will be

Tom, Austin and Christine

I would go for a final of

Tom,Lisa

and either Christine/Austin /Rachel (would prefer Christine but think any of those three stand a good chance)

I'm puzzled. We haven't even seen them dancing yet, and it's not as if any of the contestants mentioned here are in EastEnders or are incredibly popular for some reason, so what are you basing your predictions on?

Because its fun to speculate? Mine are based on initial feelings...and therefore purely on who I really like personality wise at the moment..this will change or at least develop as the programme continues for me and i usually settle on favourites by the third programme...although it may be later this year as theres 4 weeks of alternate sex eliminations (or so I hear)

Footygirl,
Christine has a problem. She lets it be put about she is 27 without any attempt to come clean, and the audience can clearly see she is over 30. The public will not like it.

After seeing her for the first time today, I have an idea she tries too hard, that she is second-guessing the audience response before she says or does anything. Persons who have watched The One Show, is this the case?

The English do not like persons trying too hard to please.

In the American Smooth,
if 6-foot-6 Mark lifts Hayley the way 5-foot-11 Gethin lifted up Camilla into an aeroplane twirl, it will be more like a Space Shuttle on top of a Saturn rocket. Spectacular.

Can't say I give a damn to be honest. I didn't look at her and make any particular judgements regarding her exact age.

To be honest it doesn't bother me if she's pretending to be 18..I don't see that it has any relevence to whether she can dance, be entertaining or have an engaging personality.( I personally am getting a good vibe about her at the moment)

As for the English not liking people trying too hard to please I would say they come down harder on people who are seen to be too competitive (whether they are actually or no)

Nor me. I know nothing about her, including her age, but I thought she came across as one of the more likable characters tonight. Then again, I am not English.

I like Mark Foster and i thought his partner came across well - she was likable and I warmed to her. Rachel Stevens looks a good bet too.

I think Christine needs to relax her nerves could rub off on the viewers like Leticia dean's did last year

If Mark does well I'll be shocked. It takes a lot of talent when you're that tall!
