Have to agree Katie.

Both of Louisa's feet were accidently lifted from the ground when at least one should have remained to ensure that this was not a lift. Unfortunately this did happen and it resulted in an 'extra lift'. This type of thing should be penalised, ie, maybe marked slightly lower for the error.

However, Brendan and Kelly had rehearsed such and knew prior to dancing that they were going to break the rules...tv show or not...the rules make the entertainment and for someone to blatantly ignore them is disgraceful.

I was really annoyed at Brendan when he did this and even more annoyed at Bruno for that outrageous mark!!

I also agree that the BBC portray Brendan as a bit of a bad boy, etc,etc but would they do this if he did not behave in such a way? I think not.

I just want to say, we have to wait and see, how he's going to behave. I'm no a fan of Brendan, but I can see he is a good dancer. And well like any other dancer his not perfect, he is a show man, like Anton but in a different ways.

BBC portray Anton as a Gentleman and funny and Brendan as a bad boy. For the producers is the way to make people start talking about. They need characters in their shows to give some spice to the program.

Can we wait till they actually dance in the competition before he's hauled over the coals for breaking the rules.

He was a twit last year but so was Bruno wanted to pummel them both round the head with that 10.

However I agreed with him in series 4 over the marking as did Camilla if you saw the clip.

And lets face it I'd have resorted to lifting Fiona it was about the only time she looked like a dancer!

I think Camilla agreed because she was angry that they hadn't marked Ray higher though! I kind of agreed with the judges on that one, the routine was weird.

As far as I understood matters, it was referred to as an extra lift. I accept I may be wrong.

The main point though is when someone has a distinctive nature they are far less able to get away with breaking rules. WHich is bascially unfair. There are many cases of someone who is thought of as a maverick getting slammed for rule breaking when quiter folks slyly get away with it.

Vincent isn't the only example he is just the one I could think of specifically.

And keeping a sane perspective on things might help. There are more sins in life than a dancer on a TV show having a bit of fun by bending/breaking rules. Its not like he is getting away with stealing the funds for Save the children.

Have to say my pov is rule breaking is rather fun as long as the person doesn't get away with it. Its entertaining. Like when you watch F1 because they just might crash

Absolutely. As long as Bruno doesn't come on in the nude. Ti was bad enough seing him in his posing pouch last year.

Don't even think about it......

Imagine - the judges doing a special "Calendar Girls" type calendar for Christmas................ ohhhhh I'm going to shut up before I give myself nightmares just thinking about it!

Brendan's so good to watch that I can forgive him when he bends the rules, it's worth it. His jive is incredible, love to watch it.

He hasn't even danced much beyond one group dance so how can he be "determined to break the rules"?
