Apart from the X factor winner what other Christmas songs are coming out this year?

Could Sir Cliff bring one out this year?

I really wanted Manic Street Preachers to get no.1 last year with their festive number 'Christmas Ghost'. Sadly things like that can't happen.

I hear Take That and Peter Kay are doing a charity single together to try and deny X-Factor the No.1 this year.

Anna Netrebko has a new album due for release in November I believe, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit number 1 in the album charts in Germany as she did a couple of years back.

My only hope for the UK this year is that Paul McCartney doesn't churn some piece of shite out...

The new song from Boyzone sounds like a Christmas song, not sure it that was intended.

I'm certain the winner of X Factor will take the number one slot.

The x factor winner should be banned from releasing a song til january imho. They have taken the excitement out of who will be a christmas number one.

Agreed all the fun has gone. There is a group on Facebook trying to get 2 Become 1 by the Spice Girls back into the Xmas chart and Radio one have offered to play the song for the campaign.

I'd prefer an old song to get to number one than an X-Factor winner murdering a cover of some ballad!

Looks like the christmas novelty songs are gearing up.

Bring back the halcyon days of Bob The Builder & Mr Blobby. Surprised CBBC havent got a single of 'In the Night Garden' ready to be unleashed on the under 5's or maybe they're going to let Boyzone tap into that market

Well I dont care who is number 1 as long as its not a X factor winner. Its about time we had a good chart battle for Xmas number 1 by acts that dont use a TV show to get a hit.

I think anyone who goes into the X-Factor building should be locked up till january..then we would all be safe...that and they could have their vocal chords cut...but thats a bit extreme :O

I'd even buy it over another X-Factor winner getting it!
