I prefer the crust and will delve to the bottom to get both.

Trouble is my family all like the crusts to. I thought this was unusual.

I think they should make a whole crust loaf.

Middle for me too. My Mum was always a crust person growing up, so I learnt to love the middle Sometimes there was half the crust stripped off before the shopping made it through the door

In the West Midlands of England, Mothers Pride is also bagged up as own label for the supermarkets too (same loaf no differences). Happens wherever there is a British Bakeries. Where there isn't a British Bakeries other bakeries are used and their branded bread is bagged up also as own label.

Mothers Pride is the basic - low end loaf.

I only like crusts when on freshly baked bread and love the heel on freshly baked loaf too.

Only standard loaves we don't use the heel.

Crusts crusts crusts for me!

When they came up with the crustless loaf I was wishing they'd invented a middleless loaf!

RIP O'Hara's plain bread. The best heel ever toasted, with massive amount of Golden Cow.

Heels? Is that another word for the crusts? Never heard it before. I like the crusts anyway. Best thing is the end of a french stick, pull the middle out and fill it up with cold beans.

Ditto. The only time I ever eat crusts is if that is if I haven't bought a new loaf yet and I'm desperate - would only ever consider toasting them though, they are just about palatable toasted and covered in beans!!!

Always go for the middle slices first, although I don't dislike the crusts.
They usually end up getting toasted and covered with beans at the end of each loaf!
