When he says "you never thought we'd be doing this" - I think "i dont give a toss"
When he says they "famously" put the windows in, I wonder how famously... I've never heard of that pub before, neither have my parents

The Tan Hill Inn up in the Pennines - the highest pub in England - it's bloody cold up there - no wonder they need DOUBLE glazing!

The likes of Crisp 'n' Dry and Atora Suet. I can't imagine those products ever being seen on telly again!

Old McDonald's ads with Ronald the clown. The ones now are too generic and could be for anyone if you just heard the ad without seeing it.

After nearly 3 years offline the old adverts are back on TV Ark. I sumitted about 4 hours worth of ads myself from the late 80's so I'm off to see if my clips have made it on there.

Unfortunately they no longer credit people for sending in clips like they used to and the guy who runs this part of the site looks like he's taken all the credit for himself. Oh well!

I can't believe you could still rent a Granada TV in 1992.

The twist with that is that from the start they planned to only include the "I'm lovin' it" part of the jingle for the first couple of months. After that, they just play the first five notes and the viewer completes the rest in their head.
With the exception of the 'lovin' part.

Tunes throat pastilles are still going, and they had an sendup on the Star Wars film in the late 80's.

'A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat.'

Fond memories of singing that one in the playground, though it is hardly suprising they ditched the tag though lol
I still sing this to myself everytime I buy a fudge

The Heinz soup adverts, i remember 2 of them. One was with a little lad with his grandad.
Also one that we used to laugh ab out.It showed a wagon driver coming home after a really hard day at work and all that was waiting for him was a bowl of soup!

No. There's always been a Cadbury's Turkish Delight (used to be just in bigger bars ala Tiffin), but they've since launched a Dairy Milk with Turkish Delight, which is the same as the big bars.

Fry's Turkish Delight (obviously now owned by Cadbury's), the little pink square one, has always been available, and still is. I'm eating one right now.
Now owned by Cadbury? Have been since 1919.

Yep but like wagon wheels which are tiny now, they aren't as thick as they were.

And Yorkie still advertise, now and then, the most popular one in recent times was "it's not for girls".
