These weren't the right customers for that question, but I fancy some people would know it. Any time in the press have a Mastermind story, they usually trot out a list of famous rejected subjects, such as in this one:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/t...wn-claims.html

The Jesus one got a lot of coverage a couple of years ago.

Did anyone here get (or will admit to getting) the 4-3-2-1 question?

Had they used Scaramanga for the second picture, I might have!

That's exactly what I said to the missus.

Former OC protagonists Brian Pendreigh and David Stainer shaded out on Mastermind last night. I wonder why DS was so petulant all the way through. Seemed in a really foul mood.

His folded arms in the chair was quite bizarre.

I think Harry Styles would have been a better 4 nipples clue than a cow. Also the 2 nipples clue could have been handled better. A good idea for a question but poorly executed.

It could have had Vicky for the third picture

How do you know she only has two? Have to ask Mr Mitchell!

THat must be one of the lowest scores ever.
And is it the biggest minning margin?

I thought having an animal, a fictional character, a real person and an object in the same sequence made it a more fun question. And if you restricted it to people, potentially the teams would worry about trying to find a person with one nipple!

Yes, clue 3 was uncharacteristically lecherous but it was done in the spirit of giving the teams a clue that her assets might be something to do with the sequence. Using Vitruvian Man, say, wouldn't have had the same clue, nor give something for VC to comment about!

No and no. The lowest score ever was 4 by the Geocachers in series 4. Other single-digit scores include a 7, two 8s and seven 9s.

There have been five winning margins of 20+ points, including the 25-point lead of the Cinephiles against the Accountants (33 played 8) on 15 October 2012.

I was distracted, as I often am, by the image of Lucy Pinder, to the point where my thought process was thinking about mothers. The cow = Atom Heart Mother, Lucy, a woman, possibly that hominid skeleton found in Africa. a model...for humanity, the mother of all humans.
Then the answer was "nipples" but by then I was way off on a tangent of a tangent.

Re; the low scorers. Were they having the classic quiz show freeze up? I ask because if they were characteristically that bad, surely they would never have got through to the show?

Oh, there will always a worse bunch somewhere! I assume those rejected for Only Connect end up finding an extra couple of pals and going on Eggheads!
