Bet that is easier to type than say.

That's one of the only times I can remember a team getting a wall group correct but for the wrong reason.
Infact they did it twice. Luckily the production weren't too harse and let the second one pass.

Also, I caught a snatch of Vicky's snitch

Very clever red herring on the first wall with the Buffy characters.

Couldn't believe that nobody knew the order of the Space Shuttles...

I was pleased I got the theatre lighting on the wall, well almost.
Gobo, barndoors and Gel but didn't know Tophat.

Tophat is the adapter that fits on the light unit or speaker cabinet that goes over the top of a stand.

The reason they are called Tophats is obvious from the design.

Thank you for that.
It's a good 15 years since I did that kind of work.

I am not really surprised, many would probably be able to name most of the Space Shuttles but I don't think most people would have much idea about the order.

Yes, the order of the space shuttles is a bit of niche knowledge (as is lots of the stuff of course), it's not info that would naturally lodge in the rbain through news reports etc. It first launched in 1985 four years after the first shuttle launch...hardly major news in a then 4 terrestrial channel country.

There were many documentaries about Atlantis just a couple of months back...

Although I wouldn't have been able to tell you the order, I would have known the odd one out was Atlantis. Enterprise was the prototype they launched from the back of a jumbo to practice the landings but never flew in space.

PS I would have completely forgotten about Endeavour.

An early heads-up - on this week's show and most weeks thereafter, you'll be able to play along with the contestants LIVE as they attack the Connecting Wall.

So have a laptop or suitable Flash-enabled device, point it to www.bbc.co.uk/onlyconnect and follow the on-screen prompt that appears just before Round 3.

Will you also be keeping the wall still, so we don't have to adapt to a new angle every few seconds? I actually find that quite off-putting. I don't know what others think.

Agree 200%

As a person who still has an old 21in TV, it can be very difficult to see the wall when its angled.

It only changes every 30 seconds, which is no more than Countdown does. We have to show a little bit of the team otherwise you lose track of which voice is whose, or even which team is playing.

I find Victoria in all of her standing glory is a far bigger distraction than the changing views of the wall.

I've asked for this before but I have listened to Feedback and watched Points of View long enough to know programme makers are never wrong.

On the other hand I also said the establishing shot just before the wall round was a bit irritating and that has duly disappeared this series, so I am not without hope they might soon start treating the viewers with a bit of respect.

Out of interest I have seen some old Wipeout episodes on Challenge in the last few weeks, and they didn't need to move the grids around the screen all the time. Not that there's any comparison between OC and Wipeout, or say Countdown.

I too find the moving wall hugely annoying. By all means insert changing pictures of the teams but don't move the wall. Also there's the recurring problem of questions which are so obscure that the vast majority will have no hope of getting them. You can see the look of disgust on the teams faces when the unfathomable answer is revealed.

Yeah, there were two walls available, 100 and 101. 100 was the first wall.

On screen as in on the TV screen, where it said "Online Now - Playalong 100" in the top right of the telly. That was your cue to play wall 100 on the website.

Oh right, I was looking for a prompt on the computer screen and not looking at the TV screen!

Got the Strictly Dancers though!

I got the Strictly dancers straight. I struggled with both walls.

I got 2 points on wall 100 and 6 on wall 101.
I should have had 7, but they said I wasn't precise enough in one of my answers. (Didn't put the maker.)

That's much better than I often do on the usual walls.
