New update today, which hopefully will fix some problems with lockups and missing text in the EPG, messages and library

wow - a 14 day EPG at last, or after the last week wow -an EPG of more than 2 minutes

But the message refers to various altered locations (ie messages) but mine does not seem to be any different and yes the software version is 2.99

Is that cos you decided to leave your DTR on for once?

The messages didn't used to be on the opening menu of the DTR...but they are now.....but this goes back to quite an early version.

They send out the same message with every update incase people still have older software that didn't have subtitles etc

It isn't the great bug fix that it hopes to me - trying to fast forward through a commercial break took to back to the previous commercial break that I fast forwarded through and when I got the program back to where I had watched it to, no sound. Had to recall the program afresh from the library.

Got an error last night that I have never previously experienced or read about.

Having somehow missed a scheduled recording (yes it was powered up all day) it then filled up the message box with a series of blank headed messages which could not be opened. The next entry for the program (a series record) also was missing from scheduled recording and would not be added from the program guide. Switching it off at the mains resolved the matter apart from the seemingly compulsory reboot after about 10-15 minutes which of course then killed the program it was recording.

Does anyone know what multiplex the update is on ? As i can't get the one for CH5 etc, so assume it's on that one. Most other stb use the BBC multiplex.

Anyone know when the next repeat of 2.99 will be ? then i can take my stb to someone who can get all the signals.

Thanks,
