Really? You must not have eaten from any other sandwich shop ever.

1) Subway is definitely not a bargain. £2 - £3 for what is just a sandwich - no way is that a bargain. I can feed the whole family a decent cooked meal with real-fresh ingredients for that.

2) Subway is poor quality rubbish.

Just shows how some people will eat any old crap - people's taste buds have definitely been ruined with all the crap they eat.

Subway is what it is, some like it, others don't. Let the 'good food' gang bang (always wanted to get those two words together in a post) on about salt, processed etc all they like, if you like it and find it tasty, then good for you. If they don't like the taste then guess what? We are human beings, we are different, we have different tastes.

At the end of the day, live your lives, eat what you want and be happy... and if you ARE one of those who feels the need to insult and belittle people based upon what they like to eat now and again, well you be happy doing that too, whatever makes you happy.

People assume Subway is healthy, with the whole 'eat fresh' thing. They then go eat there instead of McDonalds and Burger King. Little do they know its just as unhealthy.

I find it bizarre these days that people can complain about the price of the Sub of the Day. Even in the supermarkets these days, there are plenty of sandwiches on sale that are well over £2 and even over £3, I don't see people queuing up at their customer service desks to complain about the price!

At £1.99, the Sub of the Day is barely profitable for the store, and I think represents excellent value for money. Every sanwich shop I know of round here will charge me in the region of £1.50 - £1.80 for a basic sandwich with cash and carry ingredients, and that's before they start charging me for salads too!

Subway is just a pile of c*rap. Its on a par with eating McDonalds and at least McD's dont try and dress there food up. They know its crap and so do we', whereas Subway trys to pretend its healthy when its clearly not.

Choose a healthy option though, and it is.

Subway have never made a claim that everything we do is healthy. There are plenty of healthy options on the menu if you that's what you're after, in the same way that you can pile on the calories if you want to aswell! It's as healthy or as calorific as you want it to be!

I had the BMT Sandwich once (without cheese, toasted). I liked it!
The Turkey one was nice too.

Subway stuff is disgusting, I only ever have one if there really is no alternative and most of the time end up wishing I had gone hungry.

Subway is ok for chavs who know no better, but decent people really should have the sense not to eat there. You can get far better sandwiches elsewhere, and at a better price too.

Go to a pub and a 'crap' meal for around that price is better than the muck Subway sell.

Be honest, Subway sacked you once didn't they?

Subways are nice now and again, certainly not "muck" no matter what you say. I can get 'better' sandwiches at other places, just as I can get 'better' other things at different places too. Sometimes a Subway sub hits the spot.
