Bit of a vague question, I've never bought kit this premium before! Looking at these speakers - Pioneer SV410

With this Amp - Onkyo TXNR905

Would said speakers wire up and work with said amp?

If not, can anyone reccommend any speakers that will work, 5.1 or 7.1 not too fussed, budget of about a grand.

If you have a grand to spend, I would suggest reading a couple of Home Cinema Mags cos Onkyo is a very good home amplifier so to make it worthwhile, buy decent speakers to match. If you buy cheap, a good amplifier will fail to deliver the goods.

Try Mission, KEF or B&W speakers which are pretty good.

And make sure you also buy good speaker connections, avoid cheap wire. Richer Sounds are pretty good for connections etc.

But shop around and dont be afraid to bargain.
