Can't wait til Saturday but .....

Really excited about Saturday - that's my weekends sorted til Christmas. Also looking forward to the spoiler thread - always good fun waiting for the result.

But ...... and I know it may just be me ....... I think Strictly is a primetime evening programme and not a tea time one.
I find it a real struggle to get sorted out in time for 6.10!!!!!
Would much prefer it to start later - after Merlin for example.

But I suppose then it would be really late for them to record the results show for Sunday

i know what you mean - years ago when SCD started I'd spend every Sat in, alone or with mates, and have an evening watching it - it started later and the results were the same night.

Its different now, I have a non-dancing boyfriend - so it works for me, i can watch it live and still go out - and for that the results the next day works too, even though i'd prefer it shown live - and just watch it from my hard drive when i get in or next morning.

Yes - I take your points. My daughter prefers it earlier so she can go out. It must be my age as I like the dark evenings and staying in on a Saturday night with wine, takeaway and chocolate watching Strictly.
Oh to be young again!!!!
