Sainsburys have had their deep filled mince pies on the shelves for a few months (in fact those are virtually available all year round at my local JS). They also put out much of their Christmas stuff this week (mince pies, puddings, cakes etc). Have yet to see any of the "baked on premises" mince pies though.

Starbucks mince pies are very nice - they only have them Nov/Dec though (much to my mother's regret!)

Sorry that doesn't help you right now though!

Havn't seen the ones with the icing on yet - they're my fave. ASDA sell them (the normal ones) all year round

I saw them last night.
Staff were loading the shelves with them in their 'seasonal section'.

I love a warm mince pie. To be fair it's not exactly rocket science to make your own is it? At least you know what's in them. And they'll taste nicer too.
