Is it possible to see remaining chapter time on a Panasonic DVD recorder?

Hi folks,

There is one thing that bugs me about Panasonic recorders: they don't seem to show the remaining time on a chapter. If I'm watching a DVD and I have to stop watching it for whatever reason, I used to go to the end of the chapter with my Sony DVD player. But the Panasonics don't seem to tell you how long to go before the next chapter, which is very frustrating.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the unit to display how long to go before the chapter ends?

It seems such a basic feature, and yet none of the two Panasonic recorders I have seem to use it.

I know this seems trivial, but I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how they get around this!

Recorders are unlike players and tend to have less in the way of control features when it comes to playing discs as this is not their prime function.

As far as I know there is no workaround for this one.

Thanks for your help. At least I won't try looking for a solution where it doesn't exist!
