I thought the X Factor was stopping all these sob stories? Do we really need to see Cheryl crying every week about some contestant? I watch this show for entertainment, not for the sob stories and the crying every week

Its becoming a bit of a habit for Cheryl.

Shall we play a game and bet on what time it will be that she cries - down to the nearest minute?

In fairness, they've had far less sob stories this year than previous years, when there used to be 3 per show.

But Cheryl crying at all of them is starting to irritate me.

And my bet is 20.14

Do The producers want Cheryl to cry every week by allowing these sob stories? If they had any sense they would ban these sob stories.

I am not blaming Cheryl for crying every week, I am blaming the producers for allowing these sob stories

Yes she is, poor Danii's eyes stapped up like the M1 with botox and unable to cry? She must be jealous.

She isn't harming anyone, but it gets boring every week. viewers want to be entertained, not depressed.

Cheryl is so popular with people and her emotional responses to these situations endears her to the public - whilst Dannii seems strangely expressionless.

What's wrong with being warm and loving and generally caring for sombody???

Dannii on the otherhand, she's clinical, dull and has no emotions

I cry every week so I cant criticise anyone.... And to be be fair I like it that she is emotional.

She comes across far more genuine than the plastic danni minogue.

Jees whats happened to her she used to be so pretty

I cried tonight when the blonde girl sang for her Dad. My daughter didn't. But I'm pretty sure if you knew us both I'd be the clinical dull one....

To be fair Cheryl has been a good judge so far. And I was prepared to hate her.

She is quite emotional but if you are you are! I cried over the Amy girl who'd lost her mother.

Even old Louis has become choked at some points. Not Simon though he's has hard as nails (always has to keep that cool although it must get to him too).

Cheryl is an emotional person.....so what. She has cried at the sad stories and also if an auditionee was crying.

I thought she showed a lot of love and compassion for the contestants.

So professional people aren't supposed to cry? She was moved by the song and the girl's story.....as was I. Not everyone is able to put up the hard exterior of the Cowell. I'm sure if Danni hadn't had work done on her face, we'd be able to see the emotion on hers too, but sadly it's the one face all the time for her.

Totally agree!

Also in fairness, she has been an excellent judge so far. She is extremely honest, voting purely on what she thinks rather than what the rest of the judges say. I respect her a lot for that.

Last night she totally stuck by her guard, refusing to say yes to the Scottish woman who lost all the weight. Good on her!!!
