Bush 1478TSIL problem
Trying to retune this TV and typically the former owner has lost the instruction book!
Anyone know how to tune this TV? I can select TV menu on what I think is the correct remote but that only gives me list of channels with no option to tune. Also I can't find the picture settings anywhere - contrast brightness etc. Remote seems to control TV fine except for these problems. No buttons on TV either to help! |

That CRT TV - Bush 1478TSIL - can be retuned without any remote control!
Just hold the volume + and - buttons simultaneously and it will go into menu. Using the 4 buttons on the front of the TV it is then possible to setup the TV as desired including tuning. (This TV has an analogue-only tuner, so its tuner is only of use now for receiving devices with modulators, some cable TV services etc). A Lidl universal remote I once tried worked fine with this TV too. Pity it has been often impossible to retune other TVs if you lost the original remote and tried a universal remote! |

I think he's probably sorted it in the FOUR AND A HALF YEARS that have passed since he posted....
