Who surprised you?

I think Mark suprised me the most, i thought hise height would make it difficult for him but i liked his waltz. I also like Hayley and think they make a good couple.

Austin and Erin are my favs but i knew they'd be great so wasnt suprised by them.

Austin shocked me because I didn't expect him to be so good and John because i expected disaster and it was lovely

V surprised by how good John was. Also surprised by how bad Phil Daniels was and by how bad his attitude seemed to be in training. Poor Flavia, I hope if they get through to next week Phil starts making more of an effort for her.

I agree with you about Tom, John and Andrew but I didn't really like Mark's dance - I know it was the first dance but he didn't engage in the dance for me - he just looked like he couldn't wait to get it over with.

I thought with him and Hayley that their respective heights just looked wrong together - but then again, I am an ABSOLUTE beginner dancer and don't really know what I am talking about - but sadly, although I wanted to like it, it didn't work for me.

My star of the evening had to be John Sergeant - quickly followed by Tom Chambers. I enjoyed both dances for different reasons - and I enjoyed Andrew's also for the attitude he gave it, even though there were many things to be polished.

I was terrified for them all!

ps I forgot Austin Healy! I thought this dance was utterly beautiful - I didn't expect that at all and was proved totally wrong!

John was a really good and happy suprise as was Austin. I was also suprised at Tom and Mark in a good way though Mark I wasn't sure about his dance to be honest.

Gary suprised me because I thought he'd be better.

John surprised me. I though he put on a good performance. I enjoyed watching him.

Gary and Phil surprised me because they were both much worse than I thought they would be. Austin was great, so was Tom, and John was just fabulous. I'm really not sure what Craig has against Mark and Hayley. Did he and Hayley not get on in New Zealand or something? Seemed a bit personal to me, rather than marking the dancing.

For me John surprised me the most - his dance was lovely and he's got such a warm personality that I'd be very surprised to see him leave tonight, I hope he doesn't anyway!

Austin also really surprised me - I was expecting him to be a slow-starter like other rugby players have been in the past but he was just amazing! It'll be interesting to see if he's as good in the Latin dances.

The girls dance surprised me -thought nearly everyone in it was very poor -cant see how people thought ANY of them did well!
I hope they have only been learning it for maybe -an hour???

The girl group dance this time last year was MILES better.
I wouldnt be suprised to see an all male finale.

Heather wasn't too bad.

Jessie surprised me as I thought she'd be better for some reason. In fact, most of the girls were pretty poor, with maybe the exception of Rachel.

Gary surprised me with how bad his performance was. He was completely out of time, and if theres onething you can't teach is rhythm. Although he did give it some pasty!!

I had a funny feeling Austin would be great, so not really a surprise, but John surprised me in how good he was considering his age/fitness etc.

He seemed to "feel" his performance, and I like that Kristina hasn't been all "look who I got" she's just got on with it and produced a good performance in him.

I like also how he giggled like a wee girl after telling Kristina how important in theUK he is.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say how much John surprised me. Him and Kristina were magical. Him and Tom are the only celebrities I have voted for tonight.

I just think the female group dance last year was soo much better. Gaby, Kelly, Penny and Alesha were all amazing.
However i do think theres a few dark horses there like Cherie and possibly heather and christine. Rachel looked good too.
