I don't care about Cheryl's tears, as she's a sweetie that gets moved by great singing, not the sob stories, Amy had great vocal control imho.

Aww she's lovely.

So Sweet, and a sob story wasn't intended as they asked 'what things has your father done for you'.

She's officially one of my faves to get into the live shows.

Love her. Her dad has done a good job.

She did not need to use the sob story because her voice was perfectly good.

I thought she had a really good voice; she didn't need to use the sob story.

Absolutely loved Amy, she was so adorable, like a cute cute wee pixie

She reminded me looks wise of Samanda a little.

Her voice was fantastic - I would love to see her in the finals of the competition. In fact, she might be my favourite so far.

Girls group is going to be the hardest to call this year and whoever gets that category probably has the best chance of winning the show.

Well, I actually got goosebumps for the first time this year. However, I'm not sure whether it was the song, her voice, the way she sang the song or what it was.

Be interesting to hear her again.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, I actually cried for the first time during the X Factor, when she was singing. It was so emotional.

I thought she had one of the most distinctive vocal timbres so far, and she didn't sing a Mariah/Whitney/MariahWhitneyclone song, which was a refreshing change.

She was ok...TBH her sob story put me off....I hate them...The only one which I shed a few tears at was Danny's....

Cheryl is so warm hearted she's so sweet the way she cuddled her and everything but I will reserve my judgement untill bootcamp she might impress me she might not..I think she could do with a make over she's a bit plain...She doesn't strike me as a star...Not trying to be mean but you don't look at her and go yeah she's got the XF...

Amy was featured on This Morning... this morning... and to me Cheryl's reaction seemed totally genuine.
I think Amy's tears seemed to be in response to Cheryl's and I've got no problem hearing her background... it's interesting and is a testament to her mum and her dad's great job bringing her up... lovely, genuine singing voice to match too.

I thought she was fantastic. Not because of the sob story, though. She walked onto the show, her face nearly bare and her clothes understated and ordinary. She spoke without any pretentiousness. Her vocal performance was simple, powerful, rousing and honest.

I liked it

I instantly fell in love with her once she opened her mouth. She's a really nice and sweet girl who has a great voice. But she really needs to do something about her teeth

I wonder if she's made it through to the final rounds.. Does anyone know?

She was good. But that's it.. just good. And I don't think good is enough to get through to the live shows this year. Maybe last year.. but not this year. The standard is higher.

Exactly. Her voice was good, but she doesn't have the "X Factor" so to say.

Theres been far better this year, she reminds me of the typical xfactor cannon fodder tbh. Her voice is good but nothing special, and i dont think she has the xfactor.
