Space Raiders is still on the go as I just had them, as is Highlander Crisps. Fish 'n' Chips were but this was several years ago now.

For me, I'd like Piglets. They were little hollow pig shapes. My mum bought me an entire box of Bacon & Bean flavour one time. Sky Divers too, I think they were called, they were good.

They were from Smiths and it was the Horror Bag range.

They were..Fangs, Bones, Claws, Bats and Ribs!

Some great info here including all the special offers the Horror Bags had like collect packets and send off for spooky toys.

Slightly off topic but can you still get Brannigan's Beer Nuts?
I loved them. I remember doing a search about a year back and the most relevant site I could find was a US company selling Beer Nuts but I wasn't sure if they were the same type.

I think you could only get them up North (and in Scotland apparently)

I grew up in the North-east and moved to Coventry to go to Uni in 1977. I never saw them down here.

Either that or they went bust/got taken over at the same time.

Sorry if these have already been mentioned. I have no idea what they're called though. they were REALLY thin tubes from what I remember, pretty sure I loved their salt and vinegar flavour the most.

I may be imagining them though.

Wheat Crunchies maybe? They were tubular. Still available I think.

Nah, although they are nice too, these were really really thin, about the diameter of a cigarette, quite messy from what I remember (aaargh! I can't describe these properly!). Pretty sure the packet was either white or translucent.

I'm probably going back around 15-20 years here.

Tubes?

I remember them. They were one of the only salted crisps I liked. The other was Squares. Tubes & Squares are basically the same execpt the Tubes are rolled up.

Amazing that so many people remember the Tudor crisps, and in particular the curry ones. They bloody stank!!

but tasted wonderful. I too used to crush them up.

So were they actually a North-East company then? I remember they were the crisps that every shop had growing up in Sunderland. Them and Benson's XL, which weren't as good but a bit cheaper.

Does anyone remember Richmond crisps as well? They were the mega-budget ones, about 2 or 3 pence cheaper than the Bensons and cheaper still than Tudor, but they did a good range of Worcester sauce crisps (and later on Tomato Ketchup).

The only crisp company I like these days are Seabrooks.

Like many others, I too wish that the little Fish N' Chips could make a comeback.

I can still recall the smell, taste and texture of them!
