Hmm. A 'funny "maybe not" feeling' and it's 'everyone who
knows nothing about dancing' who tells him she's the favourite.
Perhaps he will have a 'funny feeling' each week that she ought to get low marks.
After all, can't have people who know nothing about dancing being proved right.
