Blimey - could the totty look any further than Mark Foster.

BUT, there's snake-hip Tom Chambers (smugness notwithstanding). If Tom does ballroom just as well as his latin (and if the Fred Astiresque tap dance routine he made shown in youtube is any indication then I believe he's going to be an all-rounder), Austin would have to let his assuming personality shine through in order to get the votes if he's latin is even only slight worse than his ballroom.

His ballroom is indeed a revelation. Very good top-line and clean footwork.”

Well I was talking over all of the Strictlys because, again, Colin rates as one of the best...overall. Especially considering he has no dance or performance training. I didn't want to consider a comparison with someone who's only danced one dance.

No way. As someone who likes rugby, Austin is a big head, Mark is not. In terms of dancing ability too soon to say.

Mark Ramprakash wasn't my cup of tea but I certainly wouldn't say no to Austin Healey

No he's not the new Mark Ramprakash but I think he will be one of this years stars. For me it was Tom who caught my eye and got my pulse's racing...lovely hip action!

He could be from what I've seen; he has the poise, stance, and ability to strut-his-stuff... however, I'm not sure if he possesses Mark Ramprakash's charm & modesty...

Hahaha... I got Austin mixed up with Tom... oops...

Silly silly me...

Sorry...

Tom wasn't smug it was just the look on his face. Hiding nerves. I think hes more like Mark then Austin.

But Austin almost nailed ballroom (Erin's speciality) so be interesting what happens in 2 weeks time when they do a latin and Tom does a ballroom (Camilla did excellent with Gethin in ballroom last year).

Is it confirmed that the men (or ladies celebs) are doing latin if the previous fornight they did ballroom and vice versa?

Also, still on the topic of Austin. I said he's the 'new' Ramps not in terms of personality (as they all have their own unique personalities), but in terms of a 'surprise' talent that people didn't expect from a sportsman.

Before Mark danced in series 4, he was NOT the bookies favourite. Of course that changed as the weeks progressed.

It seems that every eyes were on Tom before week 1 but now Austin became the surprise with a comfortable leading position in the leader board (32, the next best was Tom's 28).

Actually, Austin seems like a likeable, funny sort of guy if the little training clip was any indication so he may just be able to perform (not mastering in the technical sense) the latin numbers. Though, I am NOT sure if his bulky frame will cope with JIVE???
