Where did you buy this from?

Restaurant in North London

I'm always passing there, they do lunch specials and i'd never been there before but today I fancied some pasta. I was hoping it was a peppergrain but on closer inspection it was in fact a beetle.

Urgh! Did you take it back and complain? There is a EAT I went to once that had blowflies all over the area they prepared the food and all over the cupcakes etc around the front counter . I felt sick once I saw them and it really put me off eating from any of these kinds of places.

I was so disgusted I phoned the Trading Standards, I'll be taking the beetle to see them tomorrow. I'm sorry but there's no excuse for dumping insects into people food, I feel disgusted.

Good luck - i once found one in a scone and Trading Standards ultimate response was that scones were made in factory and as such accidents happen.

Shouldn't it be environmental health?

Everyone knows how poor eating out can be, it's something you expect and things go on all the time.

Best not to eat out or put it out of your mind.

If you saw everything that went on, you would never eat out. You wouldn't eat convenience foods either (we don't).
whoever,hey

I went on to the Food Standards Agency website and got a number asking if this was the training advice .
Anyways basicially I'm going to see someone at t he council about it this morning.

I really don't expect to see animals in my food the most I'd expect is a hair and that's bad enough
I know eating out is disgusting that's why I rarely do it.

I'd be unhappy if I didn't find animals in my food.
