Sainsburys had some chilled meatballs, they're cooked so I can eat them hot or cold.

Now what do I do with them? I'm thinking of making some kind of sauce to go with them maybe. All suggestions welcome.

The obvious thing would be to make a tomato based sauce, but why not try "Koenigsberger Kloppse" - it's a german dish and I used to love it when I was a kid.
Make a basic bechamel, add capers, add meatballs to heat through. Delish

Are you sure? Flour, butter, milk and capers doesn't sound that nice to me.

Yup.... trust me. Just add some concentrated stock or a stock cube and make sure you use the capers in vinegar ! And you can also add a dash of lemon juice to tart it up a bit.

Ahhh! That sounds better! Served over rice or pasta I presume?

Usually served with plain boiled potatoes, although I have had it with rice before.

Spaghetti meatballs is nice Either buy or make a tomato based sauce, chuck the balls in and serve with your pasta

now, i am not a fan of meatballs, but my OH is obsessed with these ikea meatballs. i've decided i am going to try them.
