26" HD TV 1080/720 - First HD TV questions?
Ste

Is there any 26" HD TVs that offer 1080p or are all TVs of around that size only 720.

Looking a replacing my Goodmans 26" CRT with a HD TV as the Goodmans seems to be on the way out.

Have seen http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/stor...ory_oid=-21226, anyone got an experience with it or views on if its a good choice?

Thanks
Nigel Goodwin

Most would be 768, 720 sets are pretty rare.

1080 would be waste of time on such a small set, it makes very little difference anyway, and at that size you would have to sit much too close to be able to tell.

At that size 720p compatible is what you should get. Like the previous poster said, at that size 1080p wouldn't be noticeable to the vast majority of people.

Whatever you do, if you have HD video capabilities like a Blu-Ray or the Xbox 360 download service, get a copy of a film you also have in DVD, hook up a DVD player via SCART, then watch a few scenes back to back so you can really appreciate the difference.
