Oh thanks for the explanation - I cook regularly from scratch and never knew what it was .... may have to get one now - I don't like lumps!

i always thought they were a good idea, but i know i woudn't use it as much as i expected... a lot like my slow cooker...

the good thing about the ricer is that you dont have to peel your potato...the ricer removes the skin at the point of ricing..

my slow cooker only comes out in the winter....my ricer emerges far more often

milk, butter, then mash it with a masher. Can't be bothered with anything fancy

I like dry mash with lumps and lots of peppers and a little bit of butter and no milk. I don't like sloppy mash like a baby food puree.
