Question on Tiscali+ and TV Timeouts .

On the normal Tiscali box the TV has a timeout & turns off after a number of hours.

If you have Tiscali+ & set it to record a program when you are out does the box login & record the program when it comes on , or doesn't it need to login ?
or does it stay loged in & not timeout ?

All I can say is that, in 2-3 months, I've only had (very occasional) recording failures due to programme clashes, never due to the box having timed out.

So if you left it for a week, does it record programmes while your away ?
(like your other PVRs)

I've never left it for any significant time.

yes i left it for about a week whilst i was visiting family in glasgow and it recorded everything without a problem
