Question about recent Nokia 6300's and their text message notifications
Hello
Hoping someone can answer this for me? Last time I had a Nokia 6300 when you received a new text message, it would just say on the screen: 1 Message Received With the Nokia 6500 slide / classic, and Nokia 5310 etc, when you receive a new message it looks like this: 1 message received John 24-Sep-2008, 13:05 Are the latest Nokia 6300 phones still the same as before or have they got improved software so that message notifications are displayed in the new way? |

Have a look here: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3...&idPhone1=1800
The 5310 is a significant improvement, not only does it have an improved user interface, it has more memory and a seperate audio processor that increases audio quality. There are lots of little improvements too, like being able to do an internet search from standby and the above mentioned text notification which show who texted and their picture. |

In a year, maybe 2 years, people won't care about improvements, memory and audio quality. All that will matter is the look and functionality. The 3210 for example is still very popular today on ebay. The 6300 looks fantastic and will stay fantastic (I think). |
