I got a Pana HDD recorder that I use as my version of Sky plus. It triggers to either Pin 8 or Video On Off to start and stop from the Sky box autoveiw.

Has the Sony 870, particularly the one available in Spain got this facilitiy.

The Sony 870,has a infra red transmitter,which can be placed on the Sky digibox or any other connected equipment,and it will change channels and record,using the Guideplus epg.
