I bought the Thompson 250gb recorder and everything works well but i'm not getting the full 14 day epg dispite the screen saying "view 14 day epg"

The EPG stops at the tuesday for the second week so i'm only getting 8 days instead of 14. How do i get the full EPG?

is the DTR in at least Standby between 11am and midday?

Google search bought me to another thread here where it said it needed to be in stand by at 11:30am to get the full 14 day EPG. I put it in standby at 11:30am this morning but i don't think i did that properly.

I assume it needs to be in stand by for the entire hour?

it would be best to have it in standby between 11am, and midday.....unless you're watching something, then that will be fine.....unless you are watching and recording something. 1 tuner needs to be free

It seemed to have worked this morning as i now have the full 14 days!

For your info the epg take 48 hours to come up from first switch on from new.. if u turn the box off it will only ever take a few mins to reload the series link takes the same time to work from new as well..

im having the same probs,but only brought mine last nite ,so waiting for mid day. would this solve the series link?? it doest ask me if i want to record as a series.
