Needing some new earphones for my ipod since my ipod ones died. I bought a cheap pair of in-ear phones and really liked them sound was good etc. and i could listen to it perfectly but was connstantly losing the ear phone inserts and didn't like that they came off the ear phone so easily.

Can anybody recommend any where this isn't removable or maybe the dearer ones dont come away so easy?

Thanks

I've just bought myself a pair of Sennheiser CX 300. They were £30 in Dixons and use (if you're familiar) the type of in ear type phones that you get on Sony Walkman phones. Get a couple of different size "cushions" to put on the end too in case you have big canals or whatever.

My only grumble with them is that they have an asymmetric cord so I find I am having to move them around as the cable pulls the left one down into my shirt.

Thanks,

How are they for coming off do they easily come off the cushions or do are they quite hard to come off? The ones i had came off constantly very easily and got lost

The Sennheisers are very good for the price. I use them as my knockabout 'phones. I'm constantly taking them in and out of my ears and so far the rubber inserts haven't budged.

I also got mine for £30 and would thoroughly recommend them.

Only had them a couple of days but they seem pretty sturdy. The rubber cushions haven't come off yet and they seem quite difficult to remove through normal wear and usage.

The CX300's are a good budget earphone. Like most things, if you are willing to pay a bit more you can get better earphones.

The other thing with the Sennheisers is that they still use the rubbery type ear buds that you kept losing.

If you wanted to try a different type of ear bud, but still not spend a fortune, you could try some of the Koss ones.

eg. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Koss-156407-...5573078&sr=8-2

They use a foam type bud instead.

Never tried them myself, but the feedback on Amazon seems to be generally favourable.

** EDIT **

lol

Just noticed how old this thread is.

Someone has been "dredging" it would appear .....
