Sony KDL37V4000 LCD fault?

I've just received delivery of this TV from Amazon and, after setting it up, noticed that there is a thin blue/green line (perhaps a pixel or two wide) which runs the entire height of the screen, from top to bottom. It's there whatever the input or resolution.

Does this sound like I've been shipped a bad panel or is there any setting I could perhaps change to get rid of this?

Sounds like a faulty LCD panel.
