None of them seem to have had in real life the problems the panel claimed for them on their shows. Welldone Sarah anyway if and when its confirmed. |

That's fantastic if true, but really makes a mockery of all the judges comments.
Good Luck Sarah. |

Yeah all of the judges' comments expect John Barrowman who really supported him when the others didn't.
From Hayley P.S. Well done Sarah!!!! |

BTW is COVER the same as UNDERSTUDY? I know this is different from ALTERNATE. Will Sarah play Nancy in the event that Jodie can't for holidays or illness?

She doesn't really know herself whats happening!
It only got confirmed yesterday! But in theory she can't play Nancy till April! Because of BBC contracting, and because Jodie was voted for and Sarah wasn't, it wouldn't be fair to the voters! |

Is there going to be an alternate Nancy, or are people just assuming that because there was an alternate Maria and Joseph?

I think Sarah wil be the first cover from the opening! She's gona be in the ensemble and cover illnesses and whatnot! She spoke about the alternate Nancy not being able to be another IDA Nancy for 3 months but I duno if that means she'll be the alternate after that or not.
& yay for The Lark (again)!

It is not yet clear whether an alternate Nancy will be needed. The See Tickets site for Oliver says: "Sickness and holiday permitting, we have decided that Jodie Prenger is scheduled to perform on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Wednesday matinees, Friday evenings and both shows Saturday. Until the show opens in December we cannot make a final decision on any additional performances." So Jodie is currently scheduled to do six performances and it will be decided later whether she can do the other two performances or if an alternate should be brought in. |

I went and saw Oliver last night. I did not have Jodie as Nancy I had Australian Tamsin Caroll, but Sarah was in it as the Strawberry seller.
