Speaker Problem With AV Receiver
I have a Yamaha RX-363 AV Receiver and got the NS-P110 Yamaha Speakers, the problems lies with not being able to connect the speakers to the front A Speakers. So in theory i have never really done a full auto set up because it says it doesnt regognise the front L Speaker. When i try to loosen the nob of the front A Speaker and then insert the speaker wire and tighten it back it will not have it. Any help would be appreciated.

You may not be unscrewing the terminal fully. When you unscrew the knob it should open up the slot in the edge of the part of the terminal fixed to the amp. You then slide the bare end of the wire into the slot and push it down so there are no stray strands of copper visible outside the terminal body.
Then screw the knob back in so it clamps the wire against the terminal It isn't very clear from the manual that you have to turn the knob several times to open up the slot. if you just followed the diagram then you may think half a turn is sufficient. it isn't. Three of four full turns more like. |

All is sorted now all i did was turn the knob out a little and went through the auto setup and that was completed successfully. Thanks for the input.
