Why did Simon change his mind? (Songbird woman)

In the audition with the weight loss who sang Songbird.. now, fair play to her for working hard, losing weight etc, and I thought her voice was *good*, and she looked nice and had a good personality, but while her voice was OK/good it wasnt spectacular IMO, it sounded as if Simon changed his mind as he was influenced by her pleading He said no twice and then said yes
Oh look at me I worked so hard to lose 18 stone I worked so hard to get here....

Yes she worked hard, well done. However its got bugger all to do with her voice, which while all right, wasnt great, as Simon said.

Rant over.

Shes not gonna get past bootcamp so there was no point putting her through, like simon said for nick and that andrew guy.

The cynic in me would suggest that her fate had already decided before she even entered the room. Wink, etc..

I agree lulu g in that she wasnt bad at all, just not outstanding TBH.

Yeah, she wasn't brilliant, but after they let the gang-bang granny in I think it was only fair.
