Lulu would have been much
Better as the new judge, than that barley able to speak English properly, no-personality bimbo = TWEEDY.
Its crigeworthy to watch her try to speak with that appauling accent and bursting into tears at every opertunity! Even Danni has a more interesting and appealling personality than her. The great Lulu could have taken that gig, a woman who at least actually has a personality and knows how to talk to people! The sooner they dump TWEED the better. |

Lulu was cringeworthy as a judge on that BBC show she did. And she would hardly appeal to younger viewers (which is probably what Cheryl is meant to do). At least with Cheryl there is no aspect of her being anything like Sharon, Lulu would be just as annoying. And Cheryl actually enjoys ongoing success as well which is a good thing on a show like this.
Charlotte Church wouldn't have got it. Simon has criticised her in the past for her flop pop career and abandoning music altogether to host a TV show. |

I thought she was good on that other reality show "It Takes Two" or whatever it was called where Celebs duetted with other singers .. she was very fair in her criticism and gave good advice and I was impressed with the way she mentored the American Idol contestants a couple of years ago. In fact there was a lot of talk on the AI discussion boards both here and in the US about her being one of the best mentors they had had.Now a divint na whether te gan doon the shops for a stottie or gan doon the pub for a pint

I don't mind Cheryl though but she hasn't much personality and nothing much goes past her 'cute' comments. I reckon Emma Bunton will be introduced in a bigger form next series as well. Dannii ranted and raved about her and Simon viewed the tapes and agreed. |
