If you've recorded - watch her reaction to Laura White.

I'm sure this must have been noted on last night's live thread - but given the stick she's had in past weeks well worth highlighting.

At what point was she in floods of tears? When they told them who was progressing?

No - look at the long shot of Danni as Laura finishes her song - just before Louis speaks.

Don't see her in floods of tears. Only lifting her chair back

Ah well - people will say I imagined it then. But it does look pretty clear to me.

What stick has she had? This is the first I have ventured here out of DS:BB

I think she does a good job. Very business approach and doesn't get too carried away with her emotions or hormones like Cheryl is prone to. I like her too I must admit.

She's had a lot of criticism for being 'unemotional' compared to Cheryl. There was a bit of a backlash against Cheryl's crying with a 'Cheryl in floods of tears - again' thread......
.......which you'll gather I was mimiking.

It's a serious business. These young people are at a crucial stage of their careers. I think Danni's approach is fair and consistent and obviously takes the longer view when assessing talent and marketing ability. If she gets emotional, and I think she does, she conceals it better. Some might think this is coldness. I think it's just professional. She is paid to assess, mentor and judge not molly-coddle and mother.

I think Cheryl's approach works too for the most part but she is more prone to be driven by her emotions and / or hormones. It's quite endearing but it can get in the way. e.g. Jason (the one she and Holly fancied) and "the little Geordie Lass".

You've put it much better than I could. I think I saw tears on Danni's face - she didn't seem to be making a big thing about it. It's probably more down to the editors for both Danni and Cheryl. But it's clear to me that Danni is an emotional person - notwithstanding many may not agree about last night's tears.

One thing I think is for sure is that Mrs O's time was well and truly up. The chemistry between the judges is much better this year and so far, the show is much more about the contestants than the judges profile and egos. Same applies to the presenters.

Sharon had her day. Kate never achieved the level of relaxation and fun that Holly has despite presenting the main show for years. Xtra Factor has been as good if not better than the main show. Ben was good but Holly has taken it to a whole new level. Some very good production decisions this year.

I prefer how we are being fed boot camp too rather than milking it all dry.

Holly irritates me big time. She is very contrived.

Danni is by the far the most professional of the 2 ladies.

Holly isn't a judge.
