Could We Have The Best Top 12 Ever?

Tbh, I was sceptical until this week but if they pick them properly there could be a really good line up and the past 2 years have been very poor. Although XF3 had Leona, there wasn't much else.

It's about getting the right mix of talent and interest, IMO. There is no point having 6 big ballad singers, even if they are better than the alternative.

I know many people don't like him, but Austin is pretty good. I reckon Alan might make it as well, but he can sing a bit and he'll certainly make for interesting viewing! Not that keen on Liam, but he's not bad or dull.

The girls are both interesting and talented. Laura screwed up at bootcamp but I do quite like her. I really like Diana as well although she needs some work. And Alexandra is brilliant, although I can't see her winning or being successful for some reason.

The 25+'s is the weakest category by a mile, IMO. That guy James is pretty good and I'd throw in Rachel and that Spanish woman (Ruth?) as well.

The groups have two that really interest me. JLS and Bad Lashes look far more polished than any of the groups we've had before.

It could be a really good top 12 this year!

This is, collectively, the best top 24 we have EVER had. Potentially the best top 12 aswell. Massive step up from last year.

The standard of talent this year is so high. Easily the best series we've ever had talent-wise which is a relief, because it all seemed to go downhill after S2 (bar Leona of course).

Just looking at your choices, I'd probably put Mali in over Liam but I don't think he's made the final 12 because he's been very much sidelined in the editing so far.

Yeah, as I said Liam isn't my favourite. But after Simon's bi-annual "shocking turnaround" (Steve, Ray, Liam), I can't see him not making the top 12.

Yep that's a good point, which does surprise me because Liam is completely and utterly average vocally. But then I never thought much of Steve or Ray either.

I think this year is looking the best yet. The last 2 years have been underwhelming, but this year looks like it's gonna make up for it.

They may well have a great top 12 this year but for me last year was the best Xfactor for entertainment (and probably always will be) thanks to Rhydian and Same Difference (So going to miss them this year )

Joelle was in it I would agree.

It's not fair. If they could bring back Liam, why not Joelle!!!

That surprised me. I thought Joelle was a serious contender. Hopefully she'll come back - she's a good singer but there was a lack of control over her voice which made some of her performances quite erratic. I liked her though - very powerful singer.

This could potentially be the best top 12 ever.

The top 24 is brilliant, there are only two or three in there I don't really like.

Just wish Joelle was in there.
