I'm not all keen on her, she's always been labelled a Strictly megafan yet I clearly remember her on it last year calling it Strictly Ballroom! People on here are bigger fans than her.

Dizzy!! You took some finding!! It is I, TM!!!! (lifts glasses conspiratorily and looks around suspiciously!!)

I think Marion was underused yesterday, which is such a shame. She should be a guest on her own.

I've read some of her books and some are far better than others but she is a good guest on a programme like ITT, possibly because she is so obsessed with Lilia.

Hi there tallulah or should I call you maisie.
I couldn't decide where was the best place to post but thought as we'd been discussing Marian earlier on the other threads I'd come here.

I love Marian Keyes but I must admit I think I love Lilia more than her

I could watch her all day the way she gets on about Strictly...thought it was hilarious when she said oh we have the same size of shoes or something like that to Lilia and was jumping up and down...and then the part last year when she had Brendan and James Irish dancing...James was great

Looking forward to her backstage report

I think her backstage report will be good as well. if I'm really, really lucky I might see her as that's the day I applied for tickets for. I'm not holding my breath though as I don't think many tickets are being sent out are they?

Thanks for the welcome Eternal Life, forgot to say that before.

She was fab last night - I love her! And I've managed to screencap the bits with her so I'm well chuffed because my caps are usually rubbish

Really, really hope she does the backstage report

Apart from the fact she makes me laugh out loud (especially about her and Lillia), I like the fact that Marian will say who she likes and doesn't unlike some guests who sit on the fence. She's fab on a Friday ITT.

IMHO her earlier books are much better than her late books (haven't even bothered reading the last two) and Rachel's Holiday is one of my all time favourite books. It still brings tears to my eyes every time I read it - and that doesn't happen much for me. It is a fabulous book.

I have to agree about her books - her earlier ones were better. Watermelon is my favourite and I found the ITV adaption of it on a video in the back of my cupboard last week that I hadn't seen

She needs a regular spot on ITT for sure!

Re the last two :Anybody out There I found very good (focuses on a Walsh sister again), really enjoyed (even if I sobbed like a loon at various points), her last one, This Charming Man - hated and wanted to personally kill every character in it.

However, I did enjoy her on ITT, she's got very definate opinions and airs them, similar to Tony, who's pretty good.

Thought I would join in rather than just lurk, although usually by the time I join in, the subject is wearing out.

Love Marion Keyes, if you like her books try Catherine Alliott, similar but better. IMO
However back to topic, love her exuberance and enthusiasm re all things strictly.

Another guest I always enjoy when he is on is Meatloaf, as far as I remember he did not appear on ITT last year, (? related to ill health). Would love to see him as a contestant one day.

Might give it a go then.

I thought it was Jessica Stevenson (Hynes) the comedian who called it Strictly Ballroom. I'm sure that was not Marian

Maybe that's the reason why ITT is now not entirely live, so that they could perhaps edit out those daft moments like that in the last seasons. So embarrassing to be called a superfan and can't even get the name of the show right...

When you find out why she's missing Aidan so much.... I think I must have cried about 5 times reading Anybody Out There and actually had a good long wail when I finished the last page. This Charming Man was okay... A bit long. Love Marian Keyes but never seen her on ITT

I love Marian when she's on ITT! She's so funny and a bit crazy, but I just love her. I've read most of her books and have enjoyed some more than others. Last Chance Saloon is probably my favourite, although I detest Rachel's Holiday!

Haven't read any of her books, maybe I'll have to give them a go. I have to say I find her a bit OTT on ITT

LOL! I must have read Rachel's Holiday about 5 times since it first came out!

LOL! I don't know what it was about that book, but I just couldn't get into it! It just goes to show that it's different strokes for different folks!

It is so different from her other books and I actually cried at the end when I first read it (that doesn't happen often)
