Headphone recommendations
I've just bought an iPod and the standard headphones are pretty poor, no low end sound. Also my Sony headphones which I love have just gave out.
Anyone got any recommendations for some portable phones, budget for about £30 max? I was looking at the Argos catalogue at the Philips SBCHE590 - £16.99, and the Sony Fontopias - £17.99 (updated versions of my old Sony ones) |

I bought a pair of Sennheiser MX500's from Maplins - £19.99, which is a bargain considering how great the sound quality is on my iPod. 2 weeks and no regrets, the original Apple ones are better than some but now you can really hear the difference. They're a mid-blue colour, shame they're not white to match!

Yeah the Apple ones aren't bad but not as good as my trusty old Sony ones. I had considered Sennheiser but I couldn't find anywhere that sold them I trust. I never thought of Maplin's though. I'm also considering the next Sony's up the range too - £34.99 on the Maplin site, £25.99 from Amazon.

Sony headphones are good, but Sennheiser is better!
