Here's what BB USA would be like if it used the UK format...

Thanks to mortystv.com, here's an actual video clip of the very first TV episode from Season *One* of BB USA - the first airing of BB ever in America.

This is when John De Mol/Endemol produced the show, using the European format. You'll see the HGs enter the BB house to screaming crowds for the first time. You'll see & hear from "Eddie" - the one-legged amputee - who went on to win BB1. But most of all, you'll notice the slooowww pacing & bad editing -- compared to BB4.

BUT what you won't see is what happened soon after. Any real conflict & confrontation between HGs was sucked out of that show in the first weeks - - after the PUBLIC quickly voted to evict the most intriguing, controversial HGs. Then it became "Big Brother Bore." You know, It kinda reminds me of another BB which ended its season around the time BB USA started. I happened to watch that other BB on the live feeds (& on downloaded TV episodes). Bet you know which one that was!

Running Time: 5 minutes

just my opinion, but both BB UK and BB USA were terrible this year, and possibly both formats are dead ducks. I would say BB USA was more boring than the UK one this year, but only just.
