Panasonic dvdr with series link?

I did a quick check on the website, but nothing is mentioned about this. I suppose they probably arent capable of doing this right?I have a panasonic viera tv and will like to compliment it with the recorder of same brand.

I have looked at the sony RDR-HXD870 and it seems to tick the boxes of the simple things am after. Series link will be great for several programs.

The current range upper HDD equipped models ARE capable of series record:

Thanks Gavtech. If you have to recommend between these or sony, what will it be? Bear in my I have a panasonic tv already. There is some sort of link up that allows flexible control between the panasonic dvdr and the tv right?

Both are very good and you would be OK with either.

The Panasonics just clinch it for slightly better performance and ease of use.

Yes there are link functions and some are quite useful ... but some are useless and ill conceived.
