Here's the problem
I already have the speakers and sub woofer for a surround system but what i need is a 5.1 surround sound decoder with 2 optical outputs....... the way i want to set it up is

SKY HD > decoder 5.1 surround sound
PS3 > 5.1 surround sound

I will use the PS3 for games and to watch all my DVD's

I'm a novice at all this so woundn't want to spend more that £100 - £150

any bargins out there ..??

What about buying secondhand? £150 should get you a decent Denon or Yamaha AV amplifier that originally retailed for £400+.

I agree with clockwork, Denon and Yamaha are pretty good AV Amplifiers. I should know, I have a Yamaha myself which I bought from Richersounds last November.

Don't overlook Onkyo though, its beginning to make a mark in the Home Cinema department these days.

Hope you find what you are looking for.
