Need help please getting 2G iPod Touch to work with BT Home Hub

Hi all,

I've just bought a 32GB 2nd Generation iPod Touch today.

I've been trying to get the iPod to connect to the Internet using my BT Home Hub but I'm having problems.

Several times I've tried to enter my WPA2 encryption key but every time I receive the error message "Unable to join the network BTHomeHub-xxxx"

The network interface type is 802.11b/g using WPA-PSK encryption with WPA+WPA2 with a 63-character key.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Steve.

I had problems at first trying to connect to my router, then realised all the letters in the key had to be in capitals.

Many thanks for the reply. As far as I know with a BT Home Hub the key is case sensitive so therefore I've been entering it into the iPod Touch exactly as it appears in the hub's software.

Apparently this is a known issue with the 2nd generation iPod Touch.
