I love these girls from the Xfactor in 2006 and they have the same management company as Lily Allen so are doing really well. It's proof that they don't all just fade away after the Xfactor.

What do you think of this video?

I get up and dance to it every time!

They can't be doing that well considering the budget of the video.

No energy to the dancing or performances in general, but not too bad. The concept's cool.

I'm so pleased these girl's were picked up by EMI Parlophone.

'Je Suis Une Dolly' is out on July 22. But I really hope they release 'How Did I End Up With You?' That song is fantastic!

You can listen to it here:

I hope they are successful because they are totally different to your typical girlbands, they remind me of Lily Allen slightly, wouldn't be suprised if they were marketed in a similar way because they are signed to the exact same management and record label lol.

According to Popjustice, these girls are receiving a lot of backing from the media and popular names such as The Guardian and Scott Mills. I really think they will do very well!

It's rumoured that 'Gold Digger' will now be the first single, I hope it isn't because I don't think it's anywhere as near as amazing as the other two tracks.

It can be heard here:

Also from their myspace:

The Dolly Rockers popped in to visit Scott Mills on the Radio 1 breakfast show yesterday.

Click here to listen again (fast-forward to 2 hrs 17 mins).
Loved the interview, they sound like professional's!

Love these girls. All my mates do now too.

'Gold Digger' would be a great first single (I was a bit disappointed when I discovered it was a cover though).

Love 'How Did I End Up With You' and 'Champage Shirley'. Some really great tunes.

Considering they're giving JSUD away for free on the website, I can't see it being the first single anymore?

Great Digital Spy interview here:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a1...y-rockers.html

Some main snippets:

You nearly made The X Factor's final 12 in 2006. What happened afterwards?
Brooke: "No, they were our evil twin sisters!"
Lucie: "Someone from X Factor introduced us to a couple of songwriters, Ray Hedges and Nigel Butler, and we begged them to work with us. It was our last hope because we were devastated after X Factor. We spent about a year-and-a-half going back and forth to Jersey to work with them - it was a very slow process because we all had jobs at the time and could go only go for one week a month. But once we found our sound the songs kept coming and we got a manager on board. We got our deal at the beginning of the year and it's just gone so quickly since then."
Your first proper single's called 'Gold Digger'. Is it based on a particular girl?
Lucie: "It's about people like Chantelle, Chanelle, Shanoo... girls who don't use their brain and just want to be famous. We feel strongly about this because they're really bad models for young girls. If you get a group of 20 16-year-old girls, five of them will say they want to marry footballers or be glamour models when they're older."
Brooke: "We want to show them working can be cool, not just being famous for the sake of it. We wear lots of make-up and short dresses - the whole thing is we're meant to look like dolls - but at the end of the day we're not slapped on the front of a mag with our nipples out. We work hard and we're sending out a positive message."
Lucie: "If you've got an album or a film coming out, fair enough, do an interview. But with someone like Jordan, all she's ever got coming out is a baby. It's just so sad."
Brooke: "She turned anorexic for press attention, then she had a sprog, then she went over to LA... what else has she got to do? I know, I'll break up and that will be a big story. Then I'll get back with him and that can be a double-page spread in OK!."
When do you shoot the video?
Sophie: "Within the next week. We're trying to get Matt Lucas in the video."
Lucie: "Have you seen the new Rock Profiles pictures? He looks so funny dressed as Jordan that he just has to play the gold digger!"
Brooke: "That would be so much more comical than getting some model and dressing her up like a Wag."
Is the Dolly Rockers album finished?
Lucie: "The majority is, but we want to keep working on it. We've got about three songs that are amazing but the choruses need changing."
Brooke: "And we've got a ballad that we really want a rapper on. We want Dizzee Rascal or..."
Lucie: "... Mike Skinner, because the song's so like 'Dry your eyes mate'."
Sophie: "The album will either be out at the end of this year or the beginning of next, depending on how well the singles do."

Floptastic.
I was considering giving them a listen but after what they said about The Saturdays I think I won't bother.
Get yourselves known first before getting the claws out. Imbeciles.

I agree. What right do they have to slag off other artists when they haven't even charted yet It is quite embarrassing for the dolly rockers
